![]() Author has written 19 stories for Harry Potter. AIM: faithful wheezy / EMAIL: faithfulwheezy@ August 1, 2010 Most importantly, I have re-edited and improved Arithmancy slightly. If you feel like giving it a read (either for the first time or to refresh your memory), I won't be half as embarrassed. Haha! And I just took down a few of my older oneshots: It's not that hard to use a beater, Crush, and Devilish Cupids. It saddened me to do so, but I felt like I needed to. I renamed Different to Postumus Filius, which means "The Last Son." "Dobby knows, sir! Harry Potter has to go into the lake and find his Wheezy—" - pg 490, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, US edition ABOUT ME Name Starlie Birthday September 1st School status Senior in high school Favorite Harry Potter Quote "It's now or never, isn't it?" --Ron Weasley Ship Ron/Hermione; Neville/Luna (even though that's been shot); Katie/Fred; Lily/James. Oh! And Quirrel/Voldemort bromance. Haha Plans I plan on experimenting with other ships that fascinate me, such as Draco/Hermione and Fred/Hermione. Once I've gotten The Incredibly Deep & Eloquent Diary of Katie Bell and Muggle Studies in a comfortable spot, I plan on writing some darker pieces to expand my genres. ABOUT MY STORIES Generally romance & humor. I am experimenting to see how good of a hand I am with angst & tragedy, however. Apart from my regular multi-chapters and one shots, I have two series in progress: Sincerely Slytherins (The Fire Blaises, The skin of his left arm, and Cold Truth) and Genuinely Gryffindors. The stories within the respective series don't need to be read in any order. The series explore certain people in the aforementioned houses as they come to terms with certain aspects of their lives, and what being sorted into that House means to them. WORK IN PROGRESS The Incredibly Deep & Eloquent Diary of Katie Bell Romance/Humor It started out one fateful Christmas Day when Katie received a diary as a gift from Alicia. Katie doesn't open up to anyone: not her mother, not her friends, & certainly not to herself—but the carefully constructed world she hides behind a demeanor of carelessness and frivolity slowly comes apart as she begins to finally face the secret horrors that she's been hiding from herself, secret horrors that include a certain red-headed fellow... but what will happen when her diary falls into someone else's hands? Muggle Studies Romance/Humor, may have traces of Angst/Tragedy It is the Golden Trio's seventh and last year, and Ron and Hermione are continuing their relationship which was sown together by the wonderful handiwork of the Godfather Gang the year previously. When Ron finds out that Hermione is Head Girl, he is of course pleasantly surprised—until he finds out that the Head Boy is none other than Ernie McMillan. With his girlfriend and Ernie getting a tower all to themselves, Ron's jealousy and paranoia begins to grow and grow—and while everyone thinks that Ron simply has problems, nobody suspects that Ron may actually be on to something, until it's almost too late. As if that weren't enough trouble, there is a looming threat from someone awaiting his comeuppance, and a certain almost-Gryffindor-Keeper who has been held back due to "mental problems." So with the help of the Godfather Gang, Ron and Harry decide to teach Ernie a lesson, and combined with two new batty professors, strange seventh year traditions that they've never heard about before, and exhausting Muggle Studies projects, their last year is a year they most likely will never forget. COMING SOON A Long December Romance/Humor/Angst When given the chance to experience the Yule Ball again, will Ron and Hermione come to their senses... and do what should have happened three years previously? Set in the seventh year. Non-DH compatible, may have some references. Too Much of a Good Thing As Slughorn once said: "Too much of a good thing, you know... highly toxic in large quantities." James always thought Lily was too good to be true, and after he finally gets her, he's starting to think that he may have been right after all. But the Marauders have learned to love Lily and do everything in their power to get James to want Lily again, with disastrous outcomes. Helplessly Yours Pansy starts to become immensely impatient with Draco. She wants him to love her as much as she loves him, and makes Draco a love potion to speed the process along. However, this love potion doesn't make the drinker fall in love with the caster. It makes the drinker fall in love with the first person he or she sees. So when Draco takes the potion in the Great Hall, and Hermione comes walking by, what started out as a simple plan aimed at one person starts becoming a bit... complicated. Genuinely Gryffindors: Forgotten Why is it always Neville who seems to be forgotten in everything? Why is he always hurt in one thing or another? Why is it always him? And most importantly, why was he sorted into Gryffindor, when everybody else thought he was headed down a one-way street to Hufflepuff? What is it about Trevor that is so special to Neville? And why am I asking so many questions? Sincerely Slytherins: Green When Snape was dying, the original panic that was in him felt as though it was erased almost immediately, once the memory of someone special to him soothed his soul, leaving a dying memory of a certain color... |
