You've found my page. Congratulations, bet you feel super about it. You simply must stick around now that you're mentally and morally obligated to continue reading in order to discern more useless knowledge about myself, the author of whatever miscellaneous piece of writing you stumbled across only moments ago. Funny thing, time. It waits for no man. I suggest you think about your time carefully before you choose to continue to waste it on me; should you however choose to proceed, do so at your own risk and leisure. Having taken the time to go back and reread some of my extremely older works, I have discovered one thing: I really wasn't that good at my chosen hobby back then. I received tons of reviews telling me otherwise, but the honest truth is that if you held any of my older pieces up against something written by most fifth graders in today, you would find that the fifth graders could write circles around me. The only reason I feel that I did not waste my time in all those stories and random ideas that ran through my young, love besotted mind, is that I received an abounding amount of encouragement to continue. What it takes to gain skill in anything is practice, and practice comes much more easy when it is appreciated and praised by those who genuinely seem to want to see growth. I must thank those that provided me with such an atmosphere to develop within, for I do think I can write passably today. If you're here to read my stories, I would urge you to look at publication dates, updated dates, anything to do with dates, before you do so. If you choose to read something from another time, another place, put on a pair of rose-colored glasses before doing so and then read accordingly, because you'll be in for a bumpy ride only made easier by the pretty colors that collide upon impact. Now, if you would like to pass a judgment upon my true levels as of this day, read the newest stories for all our sakes. As much as I appreciate reviews in all shapes, forms, sizes, and voices - they don't do me much good when they're for a piece I've long since completed and left behind for greener pastures. One might ask why not simply be rid of all the older works to avoid such confusion and hassle for today and tomorrow; I might answer you that sometimes, such as what occurred not long before this was written, it does me good to look back and see how far I've come. I also nurture the concept that I might surprise myself. On a more final note and as a last caveat, I must warn that if you jump into something of mine that is still in progress, there is quite a large chance that it will remain thus so forever, or at least take what seems like an eternity for me to figure out if I would like to proceed with it or not. (This is in fact the current status of Innamorato, which I had to suddenly quit due a failure on my part to separate fiction from personal emotions spilling over from real life in a most uncomfortable form.) I would like to say don't lose hope, but I have been known to drop a story cold before in the past. I would advise you to prepare for the worst and hope for the best, and in the meantime just stick to the safer side of the road and read my one shots. They're a tad bit less risky, when all is said and done. Very well then, you are now released from any and all moral or mental obligations you might have maintained long enough to get this far. There is nothing left for you to see here, because the rest is rust and stardust.
