Hello Readers and Authors!

Fanfiction on the internet (even outside of this site) has been doing well for itself for over 2 decades by now! The internet is simply awesome that way. Any author can easily find a well-used site, post their story and everybody can (theoretically) enjoy their writings! Unfortunately there is a disadvantage that comes along with the ease of posting something online...

Time moves quickly on the internet. A huge amount of data is deleted every day. Sites, archives and entire domains that were once popular are deleted simply because somebody decided to stop paying for them. As users open more and more accounts over the course of their lives, old accounts fall into disuse and obscurity and as it goes, Fanfiction are part of the data that slips through those cracks. Some of the most beautiful stories of the fandoms are deleted almost without notice because the readers don’t know where to search for them and the authors leave them to their fate. It was a long time ago and ‘only fanfiction’ after all.

THIS IS THE REASON FOR THIS ACCOUNT.

I will use this account for the reposting of exeptional fanfiction that is either only located on such obscure, difficult to find places on the internet or that has already disappeared so that readers can enjoy them once more!

I prefer to get permission from an author before posting. As this is sometimes not possible in these circumstances; if you have strong reasons to believe the author of a story posted on this account would disagree with it being here please contact me through a PM. The story will be taken down immediately.

Stories posted here might be incomplete. They will be marked as -unfinished- in this profile and with almost 100% certainty will not be completed by their original authors. They have been posted here anyway because of certain qualities in such a story that made them worth posting regardless of completeness.

QUESTION: I've been thinking that I might like to Beta stories with serious spelling and grammar errors or problems with the language before posting. Unless of course either the writer or the readers let me know that they want me to purely post the unbeta'd version. If you have an opinion about this please let me know!

Karla Gregory

The author whose stories inspired me to start this account. Around 2000 and 2001 she wrote multiple fanfics for the Zorro tv-series by Walt Disney Studios from 1957 which were posted on a fansite with different kinds of fanart (angelfire) that still exists today but seems to be crumbling. Many links don’t work anymore and some of the stories of this particular writer are already difficult to reach or inaccessible. She has a way of writing (especially in her longer stories) and seeing the characters that I have yet to find anywhere else in the fandom!

Little House In the Woods

An author who used to publish their stories on this site but a couple of years ago discontinued all their fanfiction and (as far as I can tell) deleted their fanfiction after deciding they were quitting so they wouldn't disappoint any of the readers that would be expecting updates. I personally think this was a shame since even unfinished, this author had style and a feel and emotion to their writing that really stood out in the fandom! In the end however I only have the copy of one of the stories. A fanfic for Final Fantasy VII. If anybody has more stories of this author that they think should be posted please contact me!

Raining Ink

This author only had one main story but what a story it was! One of the most popular fanfiction of the Harry Potter fandom on this site, the worldbuilding this writer did was phenominal. The way magical society is broadened and deepened is often very similar between different stories but that is a trap this author didn't fall into and the writing just felt magical. In fact, I often wished, as I read this story, that this was canon. In the end however, the author decided that the amazing universe that they let us peek into would take too much time to finish as they instead want to dedicate more this time to Original work.
