Clary Fairchild is just starting her new school when she receives a very strange necklace- and discovers she has been chosen to save New York from evil with her fellow superhero friends, all together called the Shadowhunters. Even more, at school there is three new students, and she and her best friend Simon seem to be crushing on some of them.
