Basically, what I'm good at is finding and figuring out spelling, grammar, and sentence-structure. Yes, nothing too impressive. I know. I've got respect for others work; if your style isn't something I'm fond of, or don't write in myself, I'm not about to go trying to change it around. When the situation calls for it, I'll prop you up with suggestions; how to better frame characters, situations, some tips on how to better fix up your writing on your own.
I tend to be nice about it even. Everyone has different levels and styles of writing, and while I will let you in on where you make the most of your mistakes, I'm sure to also let you know the best parts of your story.
I have GREAT respect for anyone who asks me to beta-read for them, because it takes a lot of guts to ask someone to personally look something over for you, to give you critical and specific advise. It's hard enough approaching someone you don't know; but don't you worry. There's is a 98.3 percent change I will say yes to beta-reading anything you're likely to throw my way.

Strengths are in most grammar, spelling, and mundane details like that. Also, I'm pretty decent at picking out when a character is acting out of character, and can help flesh out a story description wise, if necessary.

Generally, I'm usually uncertain about re-ordering a sentence, and I have a definite problem with most conversations.

Hmm, I suppose I prefer simple one-shots, instead of long multi-chapter stories that require being up to date on the history, past events and mentioned out-comes of other things. Though, I think I could deal.

Not My Cup Of Tea, eh? Well, round-about stories that don't have definite answers or sentences. The stories that are mysterious little buggers, that make you think, and could mean hundreds of different things. I can hardly pull definite reasoning from those stories, as much as I enjoy them, I can't really beta-read them. Also poetry. I'm completely useless with that.
