Hi. So I would love if someone would trust me to beta their story! When I beta stories, I tend to look for gramar mistakes and badly phrased sentences, as well as things that just go against the series all together. I don't get all weird and flame when I read mistakes like that, I just tend to mention them when I read. That's about all I have to say.

I'm great at phrasing sentences, and I really tend to notice when things are badly phrased. I can also help notice factual inaccuracies, continuity problems, etc. My grammar is above-average and I'm more than willing to give feedback on story and characterization, if you'd like.

My spelling is okay, but some words I just can't get for the life of me, and have to trust spell check. (I learned how to read/write in French, but English is my first language) I'm also a tad slow getting back to people during the school year.

I would happily read almost anything! Call me strange, but I like reading and writing stories that require honest research. I love to go back and check the facts. It's like a sick game, for me. As such, historical fic is something I would be good at, and enjoy doing.
