Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
When I read a story I generally look for grammar, spelling and structure mistakes or ways to enhance the writing itself. I write stories for the Harry Potter genre, mostly romantic ones involving Hermione and Fred/George. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I excell at grammar, punctuation and spelling areas and am pretty good at picking out words that don't 'fit' or have been repeated a lot to replace them with more appropriate words to just generally make the writing that much better. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
While I'm alright at picking out concepts and sentences or the likes that don't really work, some of the time I can't think of how to fix it. Also I do make mistakes just like everyone else and sometimes miss things. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I don't really mind all that much but I would prefer Harry Potter stories, romantic ones. :) |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I'm not too keen on action stories. |
