My mother is a writer, and I have been writing for 7 years, attempting to refine my skills. I believe that it takes more than just writing stories to increase your ability to write. I am at the stage where I wish to practice editing other peoples work so I can sharpen my abilities for when I edit my own stories. I have an unpublished novel that focuses on the concepts of light versus dark and appearance versus reality. I have written 5 plays, one of them received an award in a competition for best written. I like stories that engage the reader and make them think. I am not into fluffy romance. My style is that I like to know everything and portray that with advanced syntax. I do extensive research on a subject I’m about to write about. br /

I do not want to beta stories that focus on someone’s OC. As mean as this sound, I hate browsing the internet and finding a cool sounding story only to open it up and discover that the author can barely speak English. It frustrates me that I can’t fix their grammar. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that people who are just learning English and want to write send me their stories. I know what it’s like to learn a second language and as long as someone puts in the effect to learn and refine their skills, much like I am doing myself, they will receive my undying support. br /

On a side note, I am pretty much open to any kind of storyline, plot twist, and/or weird situation. I am completely desensitized to, well, everything. Violence, sex, and crimes do not faze me. I do not judge, I just love reading people’s ideas. Although I have a lot more respect for people who try to break away from typical expectations. I have read over 1200 fan fictions in the past year, many more in years before.

I excel at writing first person narrative. I have a critical eye for grammar and punctuation; more so punctuation. I can write a decent fight scene so editing them is also one of my strengths.

When I write, I often get the complaint that things happen quickly, people feel that my writing is rushed. Although that only happens when I am writing third person.

I prefer horror or stories that have an angsty style to them. I like the dark stuff where the main character doesn't get everything they want and has to overcome a great deal of obstacles. I would prefer to beta stories where I actually know the universe in which they feature, preferably Final Fantasy VII-XIII-2, Bleach, Naruto (Less favourable, but I won't protest all that much) Hellsing, Black Butler, World of Warcracft, Dunegons and Dragons, Mulan, (Pretty much any disney movie) Deadman's wonderland, Vampire Knight, Elfen Lied, and the list goes on. I am very knowledgeable about movies made in the USA, so chances are I've probably heard about it.

Yoai. Yuri is pushing it but it's more tolerable than Yoai. I would prefer my romances hetrosexual.
