Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm a very easy to get along with person, I'm really chilled out and mellow like. I love reading stories and I'm always looking for a new project. I am an English major and a trained Editor. I'm up to any story, but if it's something I haven't heard of I will research it just so I know about the characters and the plot. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, but able to adapt to the author's needs. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I have been trained as an Editor and I edit for essays, friends stories, did an internship at a magazine and I have Beta'd for other authors on this website. I am very good with grammar and making stories sound polished. I am also a walking thesaurus, so that word you're missing that you can't put your tongue on will most likely be in my vocabulary. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm a bit forgetful, and I do get busy with my job. I'm a bit of a comma queen, I love to put those in even when not needed. I am horrible with deadlines, but I do work very well under pressure. |

I would prefer to edit for genres that I know, but I will research your genre/subcategory if I have to. |
