As a beta-reader, I will focus on checking for spelling/grammatical errors. I will also suggest ways to make a story better or suggest different word usage (e.g. scream instead of cry) if the author gives me the ok. I would like to beta slash/gay, shounen-ai, and/or yaoi fics. However, I may beta hetero/str8 if someone wants me to. I can beta every weekend-especially Saturdays and Fridays in the evenings(not so much during the week b/c of work and school). If you like me as a beta, just pm me the request with a short summary of the story you want beta'd. E.g: slash, Young Justice, RobinxSuperboy, Rated - M, warnings: angst, hurt/comfort, etc.

I am good at catching spelling mistakes and can spot awkward word/sentence usage a mile away. I know several synonyms of common words/phrases and little-known names for things (doorjamb, anyone?)so I can suggest ways to get your point across with less words and more flow. I'm pretty good with gore and torture scenes.

Nothing special. I can't beta during the weekdays of Monday-Thursday b/c of school and work. I'm not so good at giving advice on how to make sex scenes sound more erotic.
