Hello, I'm Hannah. I consider myself an above average speller and keep a dictionary and thesaurus at my desk at all times. I am /constantly/ correcting people when they make grammatical errors (several people have a warrant for my severed head due to this), I currently have a 4.0 in English and am an English tutor who plans on majoring in English in college and becoming either an editor or an English teacher. My dearest wish is to venture into the wild, untamed lands of the Internet with a great red editing pen and correct everyone's grammar. I've corrected the grammar on bathroom graffiti on multiple occasions.

Spelling, using the proper form of a word (whose/who's, your/you're...), comma placement, catching those who end sentences with prepositions, determining whether or not a sentence sounds awkward and changing it if it does, and deciding which plotlines to keep and which to discard, however, I would never do this without consulting the writer.

Verb tenses. I can hardly use it properly in my own writing. So, if you're looking for someone to correct your verb tenses, I may not be the beta for you.

I'm open to just about anything.

Well, I do have SOME limitations. If I don't know a particular fandom, I don't think I'd really be the best to beta your story, because I might not be totally jive with the vernacular and correct things that aren't actually wrong. However, I will NOT beta something that is blatantly homophobic or against minorities. Ever. As well, I can take violence, but anything violent enough to make me afraid to hug my own grandmother for fear that she'll savagely bludgeon me wouldn't be my first choice to beta. As far as lemons and overly-sexual fanfictions go, I can only stomach so much, so don't submit something highly explicit to me.
