As a beta reader, I focus a lot more on style than I do on punctuation. Spelling and grammar is kind of a given as a beta reader, but from me you can expect a lot of critical analysis on your technique in your writing, the pace in which you write, the depth of your prose and the impact of your dialogue. I've been described as a very economical writer who manages to do a lot with a little. I'm a big fan of subtleties in writing, and adding them to your work is essential in formulating interesting plot lines. I'd like to sell myself as not so much a proofreader, but more of a writing coach. If you're interested in developing your skills while learning how to tell a really excellent story then I'm your man (Or woman... ^^;; to be honest). Now, if at this point you want me to read over your story there are some rules you need to abide by before you approach me. Firstly, I will not edit smut/sex based fics. I won't do it. If you write this way, please stop. You don't want to impact your readers, you want to get some sexual frustration off your chest which you can do just as well on a rainy afternoon and a good set of batteries. Also, I don't have a tonne of time. I work a full-time job and most of my free time I spent writing. If you want me to beta read for you, you'll have to schedule an appointment with me. This isn't because I'm snobbish, it's just because I'm organized. When you make an appointment, I set that time aside for you and only you. I will only take three beta-reads at a time. If I'm working with three people already I will put my profile on hiatus. Please respect this. I am a very busy person, and I enjoy what I do. If you strongly feel like you should have an exception made for you, then please contact me directly. However... if you waste my time, I won't think twice about giving you an earful. Lastly, please take a look at my profile, and contact me only apply if your story is listed in my fandoms. I won't be able to give you very good advice unless I know a thing or two about what you're writing.

Impactful, movie-like dialogue is really my strength. I get people telling me all the time that some of the script I write stays with them. Pacing and spacing out key plot points for a very developed, well structured story. Sentence structure is another one of my strong suits.

Not good with punctuation. Semi-colons confound me, and I'm usually a bit of a comma whore.
