I have unofficially proof-read quite a few of my friend's stories - some also belonging to authors on this site - and have seemed to do quite well. I will take good care also, one of my hates is bad grammar and spelling. I feel it ruins a story. I have read stories that have brilliant plot lines, but have very short chapters and the grammar of five year olds. I'm a very fussy person; I won't tolerate a mistake, and if I have one, it is very, very small. I would love to beta, and help promote good stories!

I don't really have any requirements for anyone wishing me to beta something for them; after all, it is my job to correct the work, so its rather pointless to ask for a completely perfect piece. I only ask that if I PM them, they reply, because I don't like to be left hanging with no explanation.

Well, I think I'm good with emotions and protraying characters. I find it easier to analyse a character and just write what comes to mind. I like writing emotional one-shots, and I will happily beta almost anything. I also find it quite easy to spot mistake such as typos, etc. This could be due to the fact I seem to have selective OCD. It kicks in at the strangest moments.

Well, I'm not very good at writing long sections of dialogue, but I can proof read it. I'm not the best proof reader with my own work but I can do well with others. I get too impatient when working with my own stories, but I love reading/correcting a new piece, like someone else's.

Only chapters 1000+ words. No other preferences. Please tell me when you want it back; this will make it easier both for you and me.

No all-citrus story. Anything else... yeah. I'm rather open-minded.
