I like reading stories and helping writers refine their work. I am always upfront, but never will I criticize another's imagination. I will only let you know if it works for me or not. I enjoy working on character development. I think that stories should show growth/progress in characters. The stories I enjoy reading the most are the ones where the characters evolve, whether it be good or bad. Life works very similarly, I think. Kindly contact me for any proposed beta work. I might ask a few questions first to make sure I understand what you want as an author and expectations are set.

Grammar. I've taught English as a second language sporadically for the last nine years. Dialogue and transition are also things I can help with. I encourage spell check before sending anything, but I will not judge you if you miss spelling a certain word correctly.

Certain figures of speech. I'm afraid I'm not culturally immersed enough to be familiar with all of them. Also, I'm quite easy to please. I think that should be a weakness considering the task.

I personally prefer working on AH and Canon. However, I'm open to exploring options. I'm also open to working on AU, but I would need familiarity with the content/universe.

I don't think I'm brave enough to beta BDSM. I don't necessarily think it's wrong. I've read some materials with that content. I just don't think I'm skilled enough to beta anything with that content and take it seriously. It seems like my capacity to take it seriously is comparable to that of a twelve year old's. Also, in the interest of indicating preference, I would not want to beta any story that does not have ExB ending up together. I can work with any other creative, non-canon pairing. However, if ExB does not end up together in your story, I might have difficulty doing my beta work objectively.
