As a beta-reader I aim to not only pick up on small grammatical mistakes, but also attempt to find areas where the possibility of a plot hole will appear. I try not to remove the original artists writing style as I believe that it is as unique as fingerprints, however I will add in a word or two to make it more legible for other readers. I am willing to use any communication method you can think of, including via this site and email, and am willing to edit up to whatever level you desire. I can edit it with everything I do as suggestions in various colours (pretty!) so that if you wish you can revert it back to how it was before, or just straight up edit so it can be uploaded straight away. My only expectation is that it has been put through a word processor first to pick up on spelling mistakes, as we all know that they can be hard to find.

My strengths would be the fact that I'm willing to sit down and get it done quickly. Once I have the work I aim to get it back as soon as I'm able, which means I work on it as soon as I see the email, or notification. My skills would include the fact that I am willing to allow the author's own style to show through and just focus on the legibility of the work. I also enjoy working out the ideas within the chapter in order for the whole plot to be enhanced.

I would be lying to say that I am good at spelling. I do read a lot, however this has to be a weakness. An issue that can appear is that I use Australian spelling, however I don't correct anything to Australian spelling if I see it otherwise. This can confuse me sometimes, however usually a quick google fixes it. :)

I don't have any preferences with stories. Just so long as they have words in them.

I have become more open to which particular stories I will read, which means nothing really offends me anymore. I don't particularly enjoy modern AU stories however recently I have seen a few really good ones and am starting to enjoy them more.
