I prefer to beta via word processor documents exchanged by email, as that lets me explain the reasoning for changes or corrections if I feel it is necessary and allows the author to accept or reject those same changes without having to refer to a separate document.

Anyone approaching me to beta something in one of the Anime/Manga categories listed should be aware that I am only familiar with the manga versions. The exceptions to this are Magic Knight Rayearth and Cardcaptor Sakura. With Sailor Moon, I am familiar with Crystal, but not with the 90s anime.
