Hi! I go by Phoenix, and will mostly beta any fics involving DC comics, TV shows, movies, and cartoons. I WILL read for M-rated, but T and under is preferred. If you PM me a summary of your fic and your request, I'll ask a few questions about some things, and you can send me the chapter through DocX or Google Doc. I'll send my comments (hopefully) within a few days.

I am great at spotting repetitiveness and pacing, though I find it hard to write at a slow pace because I get impatient with myself. I am a grammar NAZI and I'm generally pretty good at spotting spelling mistakes quickly. Not to mention that I type fast and I've been almost three years ahead of myself in English classes since about third grade. I have taken Latin, and I'm just about as fluent as you can get in a dead language, making me great for stories that require foreign languages as a character's trait, as all languages are based around Latin, Ancient Greek, etc. Along with language, I am YouTube TRASH, and this makes me pretty good at slang in other countries such as the UK and Ireland. I'm also great at helping with baby names, if you need that, and have several sites stashed up my sleeves. My family is heavily involved in the medical field, which makes me good for any fics that require...well, bodily "issues", we'll say. As well, I like to think I'm a pleasure to work with. Having spent most of school in the Drama room, where kindness and teamwork are essential, I know how to get along with people when the need arises.

Obviously, I am still learning and have not perfected my English skills. I do have trouble keeping characters IN character, and personal pacing is a continual struggle for me. I am blunt, and my vocabulary is wide, but I like to only use a small amount of it, which keeps limiting my writing even though I know I should stop.
