I love all forms of writing, but I have strict grammar requirements. Being an English major, be prepared to adhere to my Grammar Nazi tendencies. I also can recognize strong characters and plots, and know how to encourage them along. I consider myself to dole out praise and constructive criticism equally.

I consider myself very good at characterization. You probably couldn't tell from my first stories, but those are things to grow on, and though I'm embarrassed looking back at them, I also have a certain sense of nostalgia and pride for them. I also usually have very good grammar and can write decent dialogue.

I can read good actions scenes and distinguish them, but I am still working on writing good action scenes. Usually I want to skip right ahead to the dialogue and romance, but it is something I'm slowly improving on.

No preferences, anime, romance, movie, book, adventure, I read pretty much anything.

I no longer mind betaing slash, but bear in mind I might not be the best to do so, especially for slash lemons. I am a heto single girl with only a basic smattering of what goes on in the bedroom in slash pairings, and although I enjoy reading them, I am certainly not an expert. I can help with the grammar and spelling, but that's pretty much it.

However, I WILL NOT BETA incest or rape fics, because they squick me out.
