Hello!

I am an English Language Arts teacher in my spare time. I will not write your story for you. I will edit, proof read and tweak your work. I will suggest ways to improve your story and I will point out plot holes and logic fails and other glaring issues I may find. I put a lot of stock in believability. If you want me to beta for you, expect critical edits.

When I edit, I focus on grammar and spelling, most of the time. The writing I personally do is fiction and screenplays, which allows me to focus on dialogue and character descriptions. Plot will never be ignored in favor of romance scenes, drama or angst. Everything put on the page must have a point for the overall story.

I can and do turn a blind eye to canon character OOC as long as it is explainable and subtle.

My fandoms are Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Hunger Games, Doctor Who, How I Met Your Mother, Better Off Ted and Arrested Development. My preferred genres are comedy, romance, fantasy and scifi. These are the ones I know the best. If I read from other fandoms, I will have to trust you for characterization and world-building.

I refuse to read anything from the Twilight series or 50 Shades series on principle.
