Hi, everyone. My name's Jackie, and I've been writing fanfiction for about five years. I'm good at giving constructive criticism -- I won't pretend I like something if I don't, but I will try to give the advice/tools that can help a writer improve instead of just flaming their work. If you work with me, I will push you so that your work can be the best it can be. :)

I'm picky about spelling/grammatical errors, and can find them easily in other people's work. If I know the fandom very well, I'm also very good at editing dialogue and keeping everyone in character.

I can be a little too critical at times, but only for the sake of making the story better.

I work best with Aladdin and all Disney-related fandoms, as well as the show Avatar: The Last Airbender. However I can also do many other TV shows and movies. Basically, if I've seen it enough times and am familiar with the characters, I can beta just about anything. I enjoy anything related to Romance, Drama, Angst, or Mystery. I prefer to read fics that writers have already worked on for awhile and attempted to edit. It shows that you put some effort into the story and did your personal best before asking for someone else's views. This makes my job much easier, and in the end, will make your fic much better.

I don't do Anime (except for Sailor Moon), and would prefer not to beta Sci-Fi fics (a.k.a Star Wars and Star Trek). Also not very interested in comedies, or AU fics that intentionally change the personalities of canon characters.
