Yay! I'm so glad that I finally had a chance to read this! This so perfectly fits to the show. I truly could see it as a scene that didn't get filmed. And you wrote Ichabod so dead on. I could really hear his voice and his thoughts. Abbey too.

I'm very intrigued by the way Ichabod sees our modern world and wish I could have seen his reaction to our modern decorations. I loved that you wrote that in. And how brilliant about Abbey having his clothes made by a re-enactment seamstress. Very clever. And how fitting that he carved her gifts. I loved that you chose a cross and a keepsake box.

Everything was very true to the show. I loved it. Really great writing! :)

A cross huh? I was way excited thinking, what'd he get her, what'd he get her? I guess a cross would do. Thank you for the piece.
