Oh no why does Kat consider herself a stranger to Hale cuz in reality she's not! And now Kat still guesses the W in Hale's name. I miss them, like moments of them together!

I really liked the Heist Society, so I was elated to find fanfiction for it. This is the first one I've read, and I really like it. I like how you're going about getting Nick and Kat together, though I really love Hale.

Again, I think there could have been a better transition from the first 6 chapters to the 7th and 8th. Right now, the conversation seems unreal because we know nothing about how Nick's and Kat's feelings re-sparked.
However, my heart did flutter a little during the kiss. :3

Oh, wow, this chapter is pretty loaded. I love the Simon/Gabby/Kat banter in the beginning, and I also really love the encounter between Kat/Nick and the part Nick realizes he can't imprison Kat because it would crush him.
The only thing that bothered me was that there was no transition to that scene. In the previous chapters, Nick seemed completely bitter over Kat and determined to catch her. I think this chapter would have flowed a lot more naturally if there had been a few chapters before this one where we saw Nick's wavering feelings.

Hm, I really like the characterization of Amelia Bennett, as well as Nick's "obsession" with Kat.

Nice job overall! The conversation between the crew is choppy in some parts, but at least they're in character.

I swear I followed but apparently not. Interesting, I can see the seeds of an obsession. If this wasn't katXNick I wouldn't be completely opposed to a doomed serch. As an proud HaleXKat shipper I must say(if I haven't already) you've presented it in such away that it's plausible. Side note, I would imagine theat Nick would go after the roots and branches to get to Kat. Perhaps tracking the old crew. It would be cool to have Nick talk to his mom who from her own goose chase with Bobby could know a lot.

Wait, pretty sure Hale isn't blond. D: I've always pictured him with dark brown hair, though I'm not sure a physical description was ever included in the books.
I got a little confused: so Nick and Jake set a trap for Hale "a few days ago" and then set ANOTHER trap for him?
Very dramatic ending, though. ;) And nice job including the title line. I'm wondering if you've outlined the plot for this fanfic? Because it definitely has potential, but you should make sure you know what you want to do before you keep on writing.
