Love this awesome work

I just found this story. I absolutely love it. You did a fantastic job with your characters.

I really enjoyed this story. It took so many delightful twists and turns that caught me by surprise, things I never expected to happen but actually proved to be a pleasant twist. You wrote everything I love about Hawke/Fenris as a couple into the story and then some. Also, I really enjoyed reading your Archon. He was mysterious in all the right ways, and his behavior was very fitting. I liked learning more about him and his motivations, and the slow, gradual process of his alliance and possibly friendship with Hawke and Fenris was delightful. Overall I was just really happy with this story, and I'm saving a copy to read again someday.

Renna to the rescue! I like that. Nice to see Antonius learn a little more respect for Hawke and her magic. I never really thought about love being about living for someone and not dying for them. I sort of feel "conditioned" like Fenris was to believe the importance of self-sacrifice for love. But I think the idea of love being about living has a lot of merit to it. As you showed with Hawke's reaction (an expected reaction of pain on that magnitude for anyone) the self-sacrifice of one lover for the other only leaves the living one suffering unbarebly. Seems like the sacrificed one gets the better end of the deal...and, yeah nobody wins. Well done.
