Actually, Leo is technically a samurai. He follows Bushido, a Samurai Code of Honor. It's his brothers, and father, who don't follow any code of honor, let alone anything to do with samurai.

Even his two swords are classified more to being samurai, instead of ninja weapons. In a way, Leo is half-ninja and half-samurai. Making him the only samurai in the Hamato Clan.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! It was so good! I loved it. I think this might be the only time I’ve ever read a story where Leo ended up not being leader and I was ok with it. So well written. So deep. So perfect. Thank you for this gift of literature.

I loved it! I'm glad you decided to let Leo remain with his family instead of completely disappearing from them.

That was an absolutely amazing, epic story! Wonderfully written! I think the path that Leo chose truly suits him but, having said that, I'm glad that he modified it slightly and is still with his family when they are at downtime. Loved the Raph was the one to speak for the family, trying to convince Leo to not go off by himself. The action scenes were tremendous and the personal struggle that Leo went through was heartbreaking and searing. Fantastic epic story!

Aw, I'm sad that it's over. Great work as usual! Looking forward to seeing what you come out with next!

Okay, to be honest. I couldn't put this one down. I kept reading and reading and just couldn't stop. I don't know what I would have done if it was still a working progress and had to be updated.
I didn't necessarily like what Leo turned out to be, but it somehow suited him. I don't really like it, but (can't believe I'm admitting this) I understand it, somehow, it suits him. Contrary to what I just said, I guess I do like it after all.
Speaking of liking it, the entire thing was basically Leo-centric. And since Leo is my favorite turtle, with Raph coming in at a close second, I thoroughly enjoyed this fanfic. And not to forget that (for once) Splinter is actually presented somewhat realistically on Fanfiction. Ironic, but you get what I mean, right?
I don't want to say something too long, so i'm cutting it off with a : I totally loved this. It's do going to my favorites XD

Okay, I normally leave a review in the first chapter before I continue reading the rest. And let's just say, the first part kinda gives a theory to why Leo trains so hard.
