Aw, very sweet! A very nice story for a Valentine's night! The idea of Luke picking out a dress for her to wear on a special, romantic night out is indeed swoon-worthy. His idea of taking her out on the boat to watch the sun go down is perfect. He does 'just like to see her happy,' doesn't he? Great job!

Oh I am weak for Post series Luke/Lorelai fics. I thought it was a great idea for Luke to surprise Lorelai for a romantic evening out for all the late night work she has been doing at the Inn. A night of romance is something all couples should have from time to time especially if a couple has been riding a roller coaster for much of their relationship. Perhaps, a child was concieved on the boat that night. Ok, wishful thinking.
