Great story!

Just read this story for the first time and binged it in 2 days. I love the way you write the joker in this fic! It’s so spot on. In love with this story. Wishing for a sequel

First, thank you for sharing this! I was reading this at any chance I could get. It's the first time I read a J fic in which the protagonist is a guard in Arkham, and it was just interesting to see things play out from that perspective.

I can't believe how MUCH Kate works! I've heard of twelve hour shifts, but the fact that she had to do two of these two days in a row? (This was at the beginning of the story, I think.) I'm surprised she was able to pull it off and function the rest of the night.

When you showed that J and Victor's cells were directly across from each other I just thought 'ruh roh.' I thought he would tattle on Kate and Joker's activities and it had me on edge for a bit. I'm relieved he didn't! But after everything else that happened, I guess it didn't matter much.

I think one of my favorite parts of this story was seeing the way Joker held himself in his celll. The way you described him behaving like a quest rather than a patient was spot on! The part where he demanded Kate be the one to check his cell reminded me so much of The Joker Blogs. I like seeing him try to get things his way ha

Also, the nickname Bambi is so freaking cute! I can't remember if he ever explained why he chose to call her that?

Amazing story. Still have a deep love for Victor. Maybe that makes me morbid or maybe I just have high expectations for serial killers and you meet them. Regardless loved this. I loved the humor and the banter and moral compass debate. Excellent work as usual! Until next time

I read your story nonstop. I had a bit difficulty with believing some details, like the number of guards and the way they worked, but in the end you pulled it off, and it worked for me.

I liked how she maintained herself at the end and yet gave in to the Joker. Lovely, Thank you for your beautiful story.

Literally 12 hours later and I've already finished! You had me hooked from the very start! I enjoyed this story immensely. You've truly captured the true feel of Ledger's Joker, and I applaud you for doing so! I'm actually quite jealous, you're amazing at what you do. HOLY MOLY,, can I just start with WOW?! You've captured Joker PERFECTLY in this chapter. I could perfectly picture every little thing he said, I could vividly imagine him behind those bars, a fresh, clean face and looking oooohh so handsome. My stomach was actually doing somersaults imagining him in that orange jumpsuit and clinging to those bars... gaaahh. Okay, okay,,, enough of my hormonal rampage. I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter, as you can probably tell, and I look forward to reading more!
