Is this story discontinued?

Yeah, suffice to say, Forerunner derived technology, like Covenant tech, is definitely far beyond the understanding of even the best scientists in the Mass Effect universe. Even the Reapers would be scratching their heads while trying to figure out how this stuff works.

I love this story. Especially the chapters where the Normandy crew encounters the Covenant, and learns that compared to them, the Reapers are less vicious, and much less advanced.

Can't wait for more! I wonder what info Garrus has on that chip.

Please try to remember the difference between "sentient" and "sapient", though. It's an important distinction if you involve Halo. The Reapers target sapient species and ignore all other sentient life. They don't really care about tracking down every animal species, because they only make Reapers out of the sapient ones. The Flood, on the other hand, targets all sentient life, anything with a nervous system, and the Halo Array kills all sentient life by neutralizing neurons.

When in doubt, just remember that all animals are sentient, but humans are sapient.

What a melancholy ending for what was looking to be an otherwise perfectionist playthrough of the actual game. Disregarding the added and obvious presence of the existence of Jorge, Covenant and UNSC technology.

Now, while I realize there currently exists no logical explanation for his existence within this, do you perhaps think Noble Six would be able to make an appearance within the universe? I feel the added benefit of another Spartan (Spartan III or no, he's still Spartan at heart) would truly complete Jorge' feeling of "home" in a foreign place. Oh, and a male Six would be preferable, as I'm rooting for a Jorge/Tali or Jorge/Jack (Zero, not Harper, duh) romance at some point. Though admittedly I'm rather fine with the notion of no romances, seeing as the plot and action makes up for that loss in spades.

Great chapter, I look forward to seeing what Jorge has to say to Mordin next chapter.

This was a pretty awesome chapter with well written action sequences. Details are great and it helps immensely with imagery. The creature that snatched up one of the Krogan kind of made me think of the Serapede from Gears of War... maybe I read the descriptive part of it weirdly... anyways, it was an interesting creature with speed rather than power.

The Reapers' change in tactics are definitely making for a much more interesting and engaging story. I've a feeling things are going to quite drastically diverge from canon soon.

By the way, it's pronounced either "sang-hee-lee" OR "sang-eye-lee". Both are correct, but neither are confirmed as "canon".
