Love the idea of lightsiders belonging to the dark. But my gosh, Obi-Wan is strong in this story, he survived four years of solitary confinement still roughly sane. Vader, for someone who says he cares is terrible at showing it.

How have I never read this story before?! This was amazing!

Well. That was fascinating. I like it. It doesn't all make sense, but the bits that don't I think weren't supposed to. I like how ambiguous it is about some things. And I like the cell, and Vader's characterization, and Obi-Wan's struggle to come to terms with who Anakin is now, and with the Dark Side. Also, all the kids are cute.

I was a little confused at first, but as I got further into the story I want confused, and I started to enjoy it much more. I loved the bit where Obi-Wan "broke out" to acquire himself a new Padawan (even if that isn't what the intended to do). Overall this story is gorgeously written and such a good read.

This is awesome... I love the twins, and how they're so believably Anakin and Padme's kids... And Obi Wan protecting them, even when he's not supposed to... I must admit, I was a bit worried when it looked like the they would never get out of the cell... But this is awesome... Keep writing! :D

Wow I totally had the wrong idea at the beginning. I thought Vader was the prisoner and Obiwan was dead. Neat plot twist. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely. I love how Obi-Wan - how he's still Light, but he's Light that dances with and alongside Darkness. He's something *new*.

Wow. That was dark, but very very good. All the contradicting feelings and motives, and not knowing which way is up.

(One of the best moves Palpatine ever made was to turn Anakin against Obi-Wan, because if Mustafar had happened any differently, the galaxy would be different too.)

I would love to see move of this 'verse. What about the other Jedi, Ahsoka, Han and Chewie, the rebellion? I would think that Anakinish!Vader would be a bit better liked (and certainly less insane) than Palapatine was...

Wow! This is such a good, intense look at a fairly "common" AU- but yours is a version that I relished reading, and surprised me at several different points- ESPECIALLY with the new apprentice.

Vader's characterization was especially interesting; still so clearly Vader and Dark, but not... inhumane. (I am of the opinion that Vader has never been especially inhumane, but there are so many different views of that!) The comment about him being the Chosen One of the Dark Side was really interesting too, and it lent the events a sort of... somber inevitability(?).

Luke and Leia are precious. And Leia is going to be a monster, raised by Anakin. In the best way possible, of course. Luke I'm less concerned about. (The way that I read this, Obi-Wan and his Padawan end up creating another order of Jedi that pay homage to the Emperor and partner with the Sithling Academy- I just sort of feel like Luke would end up at one and Leia the other... which would be amazingly funny, in it's own way!)

So yes- this is just a fantastic oneshot, and I really hope to see more Star Wars from you in the future- you write it so well!
