Does anyone know when DownintheDeep will make another chapter?

Back to the cage, I see. It's not like Ellie to just give in, but the trauma of winter definitely took a toll on her. I think that's realistic. I wonder if Michael means Joel or AJ? It would be a good plot twist if AJ was a double-agent or something, and I think I already mentioned that.
You could have used more imagery in describing Michael and Ellie's surroundings in the jail. Is there evidence that he's a cannibal like David was? Is Michael short-tempered or is he a smooth talker? Right now he just creeps me out, but there isn't enough detail about him.
Apart from a bit of choppiness and grammatical errors, not a bad chapter. I hope AJ finds Ellie soon, because I can tell Joel is getting fed up with the kid.

I keep wondering if AJ truly left the Fireflies. It seems like he's still not fully against them if he still has that necklace. I bet he knows damn well where Ellie is too if he's still a Firefly at heart. I wonder if they'll recognize him? His first priority seems to Ellie, so I don't think he's a traitor...yet.
Ellie can handle herself for now, so I'm not too worried about her. In reference to the question "What could possibly go wrong", I think that's great irony because up until now everything that could have went wrong already did at least once...yeah I know I'm stating the obvious, but it would be funny if you added more stuff like that.

i really like the tension between joel and AJ in this chapter. Whole chapter was really good as always

I told you AJ was a dumbass...In a clueless, lovable kind of way. Glad to see Ellie can handle herself, she's a tough girl. If she can get out of a burning restaurant with a sociopath on her heels, she can handle a couple of Fireflies. Still don't know how the previous story ended, but something makes me think AJ isn't what he seems to be...I mean, leaving a few Fireflies around? That's kind of suspicious. It would definitely add dimension to his character if he was a double-crosser. Wouldn't that be an interesting twist, eh? Great chap!
