You shouldn't post samples of published books on here. It's a breach of the website's rules. Either leave the whole story available here or remove it completely.
Guest chapter 1 . 2/23/2016
I've read this stor before I'm fairly sure and it's really starting to irk me that authors are taking them down for publication. You should follow DaniellaHardwood's example and leave the full story up so people can come back and read it. In fact I bought her books because I kept coming back to read her stories.

the dark euphie chapter 1 . 8/21/2015
Richard there are days I wonder just how ditzy you are and as much as I love you it makes me worry more than anything.
I know you said she accepted his proposal but that won't stop him from making a bit of a fool of himself.
Guest chapter 32 . 4/15/2015

Avanell chapter 32 . 4/12/2015
Lovely finale!
Dizzy Lizzy.60 chapter 32 . 4/9/2015
Nice and tidy. They finally find bliss. The Col. finds practicality. Good for him. Lizzy could have married him, but I'm afraid the outcome for both parties would have been the same practicality as he now finds himself in with Mrs. Stone. Thank you for a most enjoyable, and roller coaster of emotions, from all parties concerned. Until the next time. Cheers.
JRB chapter 32 . 4/9/2015
Best line: "Of course, a woman cannot wish to love a man, without already loving him." As there are many different kinds of love, I cannot agree wholly with the sentiment in the context in which I think you've placed it, but it's a neatly-turned phrase.

Also, I would suggest substituting "blockade runners" or, yes, the prosaic "smugglers" for "blockaders." The French were the blockaders; the British were the smugglers.
Guest chapter 32 . 4/9/2015
This was very hard reading ... and in the end, it still left me with very, very unresolved feelings about the three characters involved here. I feel sorry for the colonel (his story feels very incomplete), I feel aggravated with Darcy and his unrelenting stance, and I sincerely feel that Elizabeth flip-flopped so much in this story. You have a wonderful writing talent, though ... it's just the characters that I cannot seem to be intimate with.
