That was pretty good!

I especially love how you portray Splinter as being the wise sensei, the doting dad, and the concerned father. He come's across wonderfully when he expresses concern for Donny, but also does those little things that make parents wonderful, like adjusting Raph's head while he sleeps as 'not to wake with a crick in his neck'.

It's just amazingly fatherly in the simplest way possible.

This was a fantastic story! Everyone was in character, and it was just very well done. I loved the scene towards the end with everyone on the couch. It was sweet and a much needed, feel good moment.
I only wish something like this had been shown in the series after Donnie's mutation, but I think your story definitely makes up for it. You did a wonderful job!

Oh man, this is awesome! I love the way Donnie's brothers are there for him. I haven't seen a lot of good stories covering what might have happened between Good Genes and Ninja Tribunal, but this one and the chapter in Great Expectations are just plain awesome! I think I can call you one of the best authors in the tmnt fandom. Please don't quit writing them anytime soon! This story and the others are amazing beyond words!

Wow. That was a very awesome story. I liked the song Mikey sang and Don's frantic pleas to know what happened as I think he would be confused and not know what was going on. The ending was the best, too, and I also liked how you had Leo cooking. Contrary to what most fans believe, I think Leo is a fine cook and that Don would be the worst one because of all his experimenting that he would do. Nicely done on this.

After all the trauma his body went through, yeah, I can imagine he would be sore.

And Don's memory of what happened to him was like that what we watch in a horror movie of like when a human becomes a werewolf, for example. They don't remember anything either. And of course, when Don was infected, he was like a were-turtle.

Awww! The brothers piled sleeping on one another was so cute! But Don still needed plenty of rest anyway. And after what they all went through, they all needed a good rest.

May I just be the first to review and say...

This. Was. Adorable.

You really put Don's feelings into detail and I could totally imagine this being canon. I loved the inner turmoil between Don and the memories he didn't have. You showed fantastic insight to how Don must've felt when he woke up. It was beautiful, detailed, realistic, and overall phenomenal. I especially liked the little family bonding moments that helped Donnie get his brain back in check, the ending scene with them all sleeping on each other speaking to me in particular.

All in all, instant favorite. I was fighting back tears. :) This was beautiful and I will be coming back to read it again in the future.

Awesome! I've never read a story that focused on Don right after the Good Genes Arc, and this was excellent! I am in love with your work, by the way, and this is yet another great addition to your portfolio! :)
