Wow... that did not go as I expected! So... Harry laughed it off as a joke because of course no one, not even his parent's friends, his teachers, or ANYONE thought he MIGHT want to know that he had an older brother that supposedly died? I mean, they all go on and on about how his parents died, but no mention of a brother? Thinking back on the letters between Harry and Voldy, I'm surprised he didn't mention something to Voldy about "brother? I don't have a brother" or "no one ever said I had a brother" or something... it's like he totally ignored the very idea that he had a brother and skipped that part of the letter.

And I'm surprised that Hermione continued with the "Remus' niece" thing when there was a chance they'd take her to be tested... especially considering everything that just happened. But to find out that her parents aren't her parents and that Trowa's her older brother? Oh boy... I wonder who her parents ARE and why she was adopted by muggles? Or are they really muggles? Is there a chance that they're squibs and they were given Hermione to raise, either knowing about her magic or just told "hey, she's an orphan and you want children but can't have them, so here!" and took her in? Why was she given up? Did her parents give her and Trowa up? Are they alive? Who are they? Are they dead? Perhaps the kids were stolen away and separated and we know Trowa has amnesia from his childhood and such... were they heir and heiress to some old family that someone didn't want to have more power? Hmm...
