I pulled up Google Translate for Odindad's benefit before remembering ffn dot net doesn't let you copy-paste things. I'm thankful that you put a translation at the end. I'm very interested in the use of different languages for storytelling purposes, especially hidden compliments. And I think you write them true (which is the best thing a fanfic writer can do) including things like "it makes Jane a little sick to see how genuinely happy Thor is to see his brother." That really captures the canon bros. :/

I enjoy you casually referring to him as an unhinged kleptomaniac and things like "the third drawer is full of pencils."

How like him to wait for an excuse to start a bar fight. It really did feel like a hysterical laughter kind of night. I liked it. Even without the promise of sailing ships. ;)

Less delightful is that he'd pretend not to know her. But of course he would. Careless jerkassery is his thing. And so is the game of pushing Jane's buttons when she starts ignoring him. And so is screwing with his brother. I too would punch him.

Ahh, I loved this bit:
"He had a comeback for everything. He always knows which buttons to press. His pranks are mean, his tongue is sharp, his arrogance is appalling. He's a compulsive liar and a kleptomaniac and hands-down the most amoral person Jane has ever met.

His wily nonchalance is on point, as are Thor's gushy romantics. I loved "I think you're allergic to direct questions" / "I wouldn't know, as I've never answered one." That whole conversation was very characteristic of him.

I love your dry tone of (writing) voice. The way they all meet each other is fitting, as is Thor's conditional forgiveness (that she have a pint with him). How very like him.

This is very well done and quite sad. while not the ending i had hoped for, it is fitting. good job!

This was an amazing 15 chapters! Loved every second of it. I think what I liked most was that Jane retained her independence despite having been drawn in by either guy. Excellent read.
