I would love to see Dean's idea of a man-cave. Sam's idea of a man-cave is likely the men of letters library in the bunker.

This was really awesome! it was such a role reversal with Sam being the one all for hunting and Dean and Bobby the ones all for the domestic. Their concern is touching.

Would be great if they really have their own lovely house just for both of them, like Bobby. (if we ignore the Bat cave)

(but now I'm afraid if Supernatural would end soon. I hope not.)

Oh, so glad to see something new from you! I was actually sad at the end of this. I thought for a moment that maybe they had a chance to get out. You actually had me believing it, just for a second. Again, a fabulous piece of writing. My favorite line: Dean's version of a baby monitor. I cracked up when I read that.

This was both charming and poignant, a good look at one of the most difficult and heart-wrenching times (in my opinion) in the entire series.

What a nice surprise Dean was planning for his brother. I loved picturing Sam's face as he confronted Dean about the secret. 'Sam took in the sight of his brother, a man who knew no other life, offering to chuck it all for him. And the uncertainty and worry of those last few days gave way to a rush of humble gratitude.'

Man caves are pretty sweet, but I'm pretty sure Dean would take a Bat cave any day ;)
This is lovely, though. It's definitely not something I'd put past Dean to give up what he has to build a quiet life with an injured Sam. Just so long as Sam was alive. Isn't it funny, though, how Sam's suddenly the one clinging to hope and Dean's all ready to give up?
