Reviews for The Way Up
Guest chapter 1 . 7/17/2018
exist people who say that the quarianos were to blame for trying to destroy the gehts but let's be honest the humans would be the same, great story that said about the walled garden let's be honest our planet is not very good for many species of massive effect other species could have the same problems in which ranoch is perfect for the quarians
bibop chapter 13 . 9/11/2016
They finally made it to the surface (in an official capacity). The reaction of the new crew members at seeing the night sky is so precious :) and Gilaan taking care of everything as usual.
I would like to see the team discover a lake or the ocean, that reaction could be fun to read. Hope to see some Tali and Liara again.
griezz chapter 5 . 3/4/2015
5 chapters in and you have me hooked. No self-insert, no reiteration of the game's plot... just a wonderful exploration of the origins of a beloved alien culture. Please keep it up!
Coot chapter 7 . 1/19/2015
Really enjoying this story! Glad I finally read the note on your DA account - I kept waiting for this to turn up there...

I'm curious to find out what's in that box!
Mordinette chapter 2 . 11/22/2014
It's nice to see Tali and Liara becoming closer friends. It was very sad, though, to hear that Tali is lonely and alone. And I'm curious what hard part is going to come for them now!
Mordinette chapter 1 . 11/21/2014
Very interesting beginning. I love your beautiful descriptions, and the way you portray Liara and Tali. I love archaeology, so this is extra fun for me. :)
Michae1ange1o chapter 3 . 6/12/2014
Original story, I like it.

Canon says the Quarians evolved a crap immune system because Rannoch posessed no harmful microbes and those that did exist worked in symbiosis with the Quarians, the suits retarded it more. I assume the Quarians accidentally contaminated their biosphere with none native microbes, this affected the Quarians in a way not too dissimilar to how the Native Americans were decimated by european illnesses, Since they couldn't fix their immune system the only other viable option is enviromental suits. I doubt the microbes would only attack Quarians, the whole Rannoch eco system would be up for grabs, so to speak, Rannoch apparently means 'Walled Garden', looked more like a desert to me.
FurtiveAmara chapter 1 . 3/30/2014
Very good star of story. I Liked specially the part where Tali tell the story of the old quarians. I'm waiting for your next update!
