Loved this!

This is a beautifully drawn tale of two men who should be together but don't quite know how to be comfortable about it. Romantic and touching and quite beautifully real.

They should pay you the big bucks for the kisses alone.
"Gibbs tasted so good, like coffee and bourbon and strawberries and summer and man..." Love this so much.
"Gibbs, who didn't let go." I love the whole falling conceit, in all it's meanings, and how you used it throughout.
You do that push/pull with these two so well. Gibbs putting Tony on hold even as he confesses that he's not sure he can "not" do this, and Tony saying he's a runner even as he feels they'd be better together than apart...
The pull is always stronger, though, isn't it? Thank God.
The ending was so perfect. He came...the swim and the sharing of summer memories...the way the two couldn't stop watching each other...Tony needing Gibbs to decide and Gibbs deciding...sigh...the kisses...the kisses...the kisses...!
Loved the last two lines. They make me feel these two will be okay, no matter what.
Thank you for another amazing fic. Angsty, honest and a happy ending, who could ask for more? On to the next one...

I really liked their tentative-ness, especially as Gibbs re-lived his childhood/teen aged memories.
Fantastic story...what a way to fall!

That's the end? There is still so much story to tell. What about the talk the next? Is Gibbs going to give Tony more? Is this going to be a real relationship or friends with benefits? I thing friends with benefits would hurt Tony. Has Jackson figured it out? He didn't question where they were staying, or even why Tony was there. What happens the next day? Then when they get back to DC? Still a lot of story to write. A rushed ending didn't give them justice. Please reconsired updating again!

Aww...what a sweet ending.
You have no idea how much restraint it took for me to not red this when I came home all exhausted last night! I'm glad I saved it for a time when I could fully appreciate it and savor it in the way it deserves.

Honestly, the chapter before this was so fucking amazing that there really wasn't a way you could ave topped it for me but again, I love the way that you have them go off on little adventures together, twine their lives together, and so this worked as a perfect wrap up of the story. To me it almost felt more of an epilogue and I was glad for the resolution.
