I love Porthos the man more and more through your stories.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this story, very well written and I like the way it was from Caroline's point of view - the way she observed Aramis worrying for Porthos and all her observations nicely done. Shall look forward to Porthos' point of view (which I'm going to read right now!)

Beautiful! I loved seeing the Musketeers-the entire court-through a strangers eyes. Her insights were perfect, and you handled Aramis's worry so well! Truly a joy to read.

I'd love to read what happened with Athos, D'Artagnan, and Porthos! (That's less a hint and more a request, but you can feel free to ignore it if you like.

Another great story. I have to confess to being a bit dubious about it at first, just because I was worried it was going to be a Mary-Sue story. However it most definitely is not. Caroline is genuinely an outside perspective on the boys, and an interesting and well drawn one. She is a likeable character in her own right, liked the back story with Edwards, but the story is not about her it is about the Musketeers. And since it's the Musketeers I'm interested in I loved the story! I would definitely like to see Porthos perspective, I want to know how he defeated the others. Really looking forward to seeing your story, and any other plot bunnies you have. Thank you for sharing

I may have already reviewed this on AO3 (and if I didn't, shame on me) but I love this. It's so lovely. The whole conversation with Aramis and Caroline was heartbreaking. And it was wonderful to see the relief and familiarity in Porthos's safe arrival... and Aramis finally sleeping. More of this from just about any point of view would have me reading.

This is a great example of how an outsider's perspective and an OC can enhance instead of take away from the characters we know and love. Great job.
