Well this was an emotional roller coaster to read, honestly. I can imagine how humiliating it could be for Niles to admit what Maris did to him and how she made him to lose everything, forcing him to change his living conditions so low that he would end up in the car, eventually. That would shake up with everyone. So glad that he had all this support system, despite that he hid it from that at first. So lovely to see Daphne realizing her feelings and acting on them in such dark times and meaning them sincerely. Perfect job, as always with your fics. :)

I love this side of Martin. It's shown so rarely, but it IS there. Love that you wrote him this way! I can see that this is a long way from being complete, so I can't wait to read more! :D

I love that Niles is so caring, even in spite of what he's dealing with. And it's bringing Frasier and Martin so much closer, too. I hope things turn around for Niles soon!

I am glad Niles is at Frasier and Martin's place. I just hope he doesn't get upset when he finds out Daphne told them what has been going on with him. I can't wait until he takes her out to dinner.

You'd think Frasier would be far mire understanding, being a psychiatrist himself. He is so mean and acts like he has no idea how depressed people behave :( I guess he's in denial or something.
