FINALLY! Someone finally wrote a fic about just how bloody wrong it was to have forced a civilian child into that bloodstained world just because of who his ancestor is... Don't get me wrong... I love Katekyo but sometimes the fanfics really get on my nerves... they always make light of Tsuna being forced into the mafia, as though it was funny that someone's freedom of choice for his life was completely stolen from him. Most of the time it's still ok but sometimes it just gets to me... like why doesn't anyone realise how wrong something like that is...

anyway, great fic I loved that someone finally voiced out the perspective in this fic and while I love your fics this is definitely my current fav.

Although I love all of your stories, I think that this might be my favorite. It's a new perspective and it seems so real and something that could really happen in KHR. I love it.

I absolutely adore this. The last line nailed it so hard, it hit me. I have to agree, in fact, I couldn't think of it any other way. That was reality. Why would they fight anyway? For continuation. It was desire, their want for Vongola to continue in the next generations. But it would not be all sunshine's and rainbows without sacrificing, bloodshed, and tainting innocence.

This did a great job justifying Vongola and Mafia in a realistic thinking. After all, we shouldn't expect the real world to be that perfect. I dunno if I'm rambling nonsense again, haha. This was my understanding, or perhaps what I tried to explain with words xD

I don't fully understand the concept of mafia. But I've seen a Japanese drama about Yakuzas, and they did mention that mafia life is much worse. Being forced into something such as that highly unattainable position without giving so much as a choice to a person- a child no less is something that's even worse than torture. I know the manga/anime is supposed to be a comedy, but from the stories of not only the past but their present and future (Iemitsu's negligence of his family, Nana's obliviousness, Tsuna's peers, Namimori's destruction, Vongola's past) you'd expect they'll at least show what the feelings should be. And everyone expects greatly from a child who has suffered not only from verbal beating but also from the lack of attention a child should have. You'd think mafiosos at least has that much conscience. But anyway, this is not as far from being unrealistic. It makes a lot more sense. Vongola's blood has been passed down for the past 400 years, when will it reach its end? Haha. Good job, author-san. (:

I thought that too. It's not so much the wars or the blood shed that is Vongola's sin but their want to continue it to a new generation by any means necessary.
