All I am trying to do is provide a positive/constructive criticism on the exploration of Alternate Dimensions/realities/earths/timelines other than that of the Stargate Franchise. For it would be interesting to see the main character exploring the alien lifeforms and technology earth human lifeforms and technology of other realities found within other random franchises outside of the stargate franchise fandom. With infinity of realities logically speaking there should also be a diversity of Infinity of home multiversal constants and laws of nature. Honestly I was disappointed that I was approximately nine to ten years to late to review Voider's original version of the story but I am going to go and ahead repost these same reviews on your reworked version of Empress in the Shadows if I am not to late for making any story suggestions.

Voau'ld is my idea for the name for the new Goa'uld genetic strain but I could still see Davros of Doctor Who combining his Daleks with the Goa'ulds and create something like a Goa'ulek or otherwards a species-race breeds that will genocidal exterminate any other lifeforms that are not necessarily of their own speciesrace or that they are not able to take over as the most extreme version of parasitic relationships with their hosts.

Honestly it would be interesting to see how Lillith would work with the technology of the Cybermen, Borg, Time Lords, Guardians of Time, Oans, Daleks, Vulcans, Kree, Scrulls, Kryptonians, the Celestials, the Watchers, the Precursers, and the Forewarners.

It would be interesting to have Stargate Atlantis, and Stargate Universe built in along with the Amazon Stargate Franchise ebooks, and Big Finish dramatized dramas to be involved in this particular story. In adjacent would you consider some multi-fandom crossover. For example your main character could when her civilization/empire advanced enough expand beyond the Alteran(Ancient), Furling, Nox, and Asgard galaxies of influence/power but also expand into various alternate universes with in her home multiverse. Which I understand the Stargate Franchise's cascade affect when multiversal travel is in play however it seems to me that other fandoms such as DC comics and Marvel comics might have other possible laws in play that just might be what nullifies the cascade affect within their closest universes -earth-realities with in their home multiverse that might just allow your main character to conquer the ones that are in between Marvel comics, DC comics, and the Stargate Franchise. Plus is it to much to mention that the following might just be a better explanation for the Stargate SG1 1969 time travel episode(People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpointit's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff. The Doctor: Don't blink. Otherwords a bit more of time travel after affects being mutations(natural and artificial selection with microevolution to matriculation evolutionary process upon the multi-multiversal genetic/linnean categorization/ecological microenvironent and macroenvironment timeline code. I was really expecting something when I've read the reviews saying it's better than the original. It's alright but it's not better. Sure it's less idealistic and that Earth vacation drama was nice but it's canceled by allowing disrespect from Ramon.

I would really love to see the story continue. I've read it like three times last year and every time I have really good time with it. Very well written and perfectly balanced characters. I know a lot about real life stuff and writer's blocks etc. but I hope one day the author has an opportunity to come back to this story.
