love love love love love! this was truly beautiful. i so love this. they definately would have needed time to heal, they needed each other to heal. but they didnt need each other as lovers they needed friendship and companionship. you hit the nail on the head. i just love this so much!

I like this fic...it really captures a possibility of the immediate happenings after the war ends. Is this a standalone chapter or will there be more following? Seems like you've kind of wrapped up your original plot just with this chapter.
