Wow. This story is amazing. You really make my heart hurt! I can't tell you how beautiful and painful this series is.

I loved the chapter! It was really great despite the dark themes. Poor Jim! But McCoy is being perfect!

Interesting, albeit rather depressing. I'd like to see a little more positive change happen in Jim, though, particularly in the Starfleet segments.
May I make a suggestion for a future chapter or short? "Few and Far Between", wherein Jim strikes up a friendship and/or tentative romance with Dr. Carol Marcus, and realizes she's something of a kindred soul. After all, she's undoubtedly struggling with lingering guilt and trauma from the events of Into Darkness. Dollop on all the angst and hurt/comfort those two troubled souls need. It'd just be nice to see him moving beyond his sordid past to some degree.
