This was an amazing story! I loved it so much

Awesome story!

Souless Sam does speak a bit of truth that they both need to hear. I've always hated how they treat Sam. And Dean's whole...'I'm the big brother, I've got to protect him' is good & all...if that's what you're doing. But he treats Sam like a child & he the mother. he doesn't give Sam credit. He's gotten a tiny bit better over the years, but it took WAY too long to get to that point.

DEAN went through hell? Seriously? Bobby had the balls to say that to someone that was torn apart & put back together again for 40yrs?! He's a special kind of dumbass. Awwww...poor Dean...got to go free & live his life. Yeah, he was mourning the loss of his brother and I know what it feels like to lose someone you love...but that's NOTHING compared to what Sam went through.

Shoot.. I was hoping for Dean to get a slap in the face with the realization that Cas does have more claim over Sam because he loves him.

It seems yet again that Dean gets a pass on treating his brother like shit without even a freakin apology. All swept under the rug cause 'He's his brother' and showing his worry. Let's forget him calling Sam dumb.

I hope Sam at least stands up for himself and doesn't let Dean and Bobby sweep what they did under the rug.

Sam decided to be a little bit cheaper? Is he freakin serious right now? A person can only handle so much of being treated like shit til they reach they're breaking point. This is ALL on Dean. He needs to see that.

And THAT right there is why I don't like Dean. He'said a bigot. And he constantly treats Sam like a child instead of his adult brother. "I can't MAKE him get over it if he'said not here." How about he tries not being a huge Dick? How about he apologizes for making his brother feel less, yet again for not being 100% human? I was really hoping Sam would punch him.

This is an interesting story you don't often see Sam and Castiel pairing. Well done on not forgetting Adam.

I really loved this story, it was perfect! I don't know whether I'm going to squeal of happiness over the ending (which also was perfect), or cry because I'm done reading

I'm so amazingly happy I found this. I've had a really horrible, anxiety-attack-inducing-week and this gem of a story worked wonders for my emotional state. Your descriptions of the bond were beautiful and sweet, Sam and Cass were absolutely adorable and even with the dramatic tension and the angsty bits the fic, overall, was like a shot of happiness to the veins.
Loved it.
