this story was awesome on too many not old enough to have watched this show as a kid,but reading this made me watch captured all the characters perfectly and I will admit that I cried at some parts! awesome story bro! peace!

I love the idea here. It is presented in a believable fashion, with realistic motives and reactions. It harkens to the old cartoon while still standing as a individual piece. I am curious about the use of Beetlejuice's name so often by Lydia, in the cartoon it seemed like she usually called him BJ so that his name didn't slip thrice times and send him away. I love Bj's obsessive side. Playing up on the dead factor by having him not eat and thus loose wight to the point of being a thin frame of himself...It all has this wonderful element of anguish while being sort of whimsical, like its no big deal I've shut myself away for YEARS! I'm so afraid you will vanish and yet am so very glad to see you from both sides. I miss this show so much and I wish they would re-lease it all on DVD for the fans!

It was a cool story! But, I don't know if I truly like this new version of Beetlejuice, he seems to mature and composed for my like, but aside of that, it was a great storyline, congratulations ;)

I read the first one, A new beginning and it was really good. It kept my attention and kept me wanting more. I'm on the second one now, Dark shadows and it is really good so far. it is keeping my attention and I'm wanting to read more. :)

They always did seem like a great couple- Well accept for the visual age difference. But, with Beetlejuice having the mental capacity of a elder teen, I never saw it as anything 'immoral'.

His actions and mannerisms always made him and Lydia an acceptably fitting pair.

Even better, his intentions toward Lydia where based more on an actual attraction to her personality(and a close friendship that they already shared) then a lust.
