Almost three years... I just found this and it was amazing. I don’t know if you would get this but thank you for writing this. I enjoyed every single story, from the main ones to all the bonus chapters. The way you write make my laugh and cry with the stories I felt Arthur and Merlin’s joy and pain. This is a masterpiece, amazing in every single way. The ending was sad but at the same time it felt so right, excelent closure to such a magnificent story.

glad I found this here on ff, there is much more than on Ao3. Love the connection between Merlin and Arthur, and the friendship with Gwen, Lancelot, and even Morgana (I really hated her smirk by the end of that show) but you made me like you she could've become.

I thought I'd give a little constructive criticism, if you don't want it then please disregard everything below.
Okay, so while I do think self sacrifice is in both Merlin and Arthur's characters and that they do both love each other I don't think that they would be saying the 'mushy' stuff in this or telling each other everything detail of their lives. (and dreams/nightmares).
It became part of Merlin's character to hide things from childhood, and while he doesn't really have to hide in this fic I don't think he'd find it easy to tell Arthur everything, especially if he thought it would hurt/upset Arthur. As for Arthur himself as you pointed out he was raised to not except or want any help, so while I could see him start to share some more personal things with Merlin I can't imagine him being this different. If you want to change the characters it takes more time and steps inbetween to make it more realistic.
