Quite like this resolution, although it would've been a little anti-climactic in game. Loved reading it though.

Hah! If only video game Hawke could have ended things this way. The only problem left is Orsino. Maybe a Knight-Commander who isn't half-insane from lyrium will catch him using blood magic.

Haha! I liked this ending better! Kinda like the TS Eliot poem, "not with a bang but a whimper". But I can see how Varric wouldn't be happy with that and would want to BS the Seekers just to screw with them :)

i think i like this ending better, bioware tells some good storys but their endings leave a lot to be desired

I definitly think Varric was BS his way with Cassandra.
I mean, 80% of the ennemies in a fight come from the rooftops, the doors, teleport...

Plus, in my universe, Anders never went to Kirkwall.
I'll stick to his Awakening epilogue wich say he stayed with the Warden forever.

In short, for me, DA2 NEVER happened.

Except Varric.
And Cassandra.
And snarky!Hawke.
These three are awesome.

Also, your OS was very good.

I even tried playing Awakening to see if I could change DA2! Anders you dirty little... lol
