I love this short story! The characterization is great and the fact that Wes finally allowed himself to cry was a nice bit of character developement. Poor guy does need a break.

It’s been a while since I read the master challenge story, and I do remember you bringing Wes and Rui in briefly. But it would be great to see them in action more. I don’t quite remember what happened in the most recent chapters of the final arc but if I remember right, the events would be right up their ally. Maybe you could bring them in to help Ash recover?

This story is amazing! I never realy thought abour why Wes was a part of Team Snagem in the first place but now it makes perfect sence! I also like how you wroght Wes's personality, having him think of himself as a bad guy with no heart, I wold think the same way if I had gone thru the same past you showed. That last sene you showed actualy made me cry, i guess all hearts that have been tainted by Chifer and Team Snagem have been purifyed... until XD: Gale of Darkness that is! This story was amazing. I don't even know the characters well and it made me feel the feels. Maybe in the kalos arc, as the corruption speeds, it could spread to orre. Then Wes and Rui would have to leave and maybe they could run into ash and co. Just a suggestion that could possibly work, but I don't know how the rest of your story is planned out so I don't know if it could fit. Keep up the amazing writing!
