Daastan Go chapter 1 . 6/27
Passable. The reasons for Sakura to be better than Sasuke here aren't good, nor plausible enough. Not even close. It's fine to make her whatever you want, but Sasuke was already hyperbolically talented in canon; why go for beating hyperbole? (He mastered Senjutsu in under fifteen minutes in canon when he possessed one out of the two best cursed seals, the Heaven Seal, the other being the Earth Seal that belonged to Kimimaro; and Jugo's cursed seal is Sage Mode; he mastered Susanoo in under half-an-hour when Madara and Onoki clearly stated that Susanoo works on chakra stabilisation; heck, even Tobirama stated that he's never seen anyone control chakra as effectively as Sasuke and he fought Uchiha all his life and he also compared him to Madara, a prodigy, when Sasuke's less than half his age; fucking hell, his Ninjutsu has the craziest shapes in canon whilst he's using several at a time, without the Bijuu kneading his chakra [unlike Naruto]; etc.) So why make this more hyperbolic than that when you can avoid the "game-y" pitfall of this and make her talented on the ground-work she had in canon? I don't understand.

Sakura never had perfect chakra control at any point in the manga (VIZ translation, anyway); she had delicate chakra control (whatever that means); and you didn't take that anywhere novel, either. The fact that Sakura couldn't do elemental Jutsu in canon is proof enough that she was the weakest link in Team-7 on this front as Kakashi stated that combining shape and nature manipulation alone is an above A-Rank feat, and that creates a difference between shaped elemental and non-elemental Jutus; she controlled chakra better initially because hers was so small in quantity compared to Sasuke's and Naruto's, a fact Kakashi thought of quite explicitly; she couldn't handle the tiniest bit of Bijuu chakra from Naruto (when he attacked her) whilst Sasuke handled it at the Sage's level, as Kurama stated, and Naruto handled it with ease, as well. Besides, if you can't uplift a character without knocking another one down, you're not writing the right way. It just shows that you can't uplift a character without knocking others down.

If practice could make people perfect, then why's no one perfect? It's this reasoning that you couldn't back in the one-shot. That aside, somewhat decent grammar, but the structure doesn't offer anything fresh. The rest is standard affair in my eyes. In fact, it reads like "Sakura's gamer-level went up by one!" sort of thing that's a cliche in Sakura fictions at this point. Why can't you people write bettering her without putting other characters down? I don't get it. If you have to try "this" hard to elevate a character, then, perhaps, write about a character that makes this easy rather than a pointless "game-y" challenge where every lap she runs increases her Data-Book stats like a Gamer's Achievement Trophy (training to become a prodigy has been done to fucking death on here). It's just . . . lazy writing; and, since there are so many of these out there, what's the point? Perhaps you should ask yourself this, because, frankly, every Sakura-Centric fiction reads the same way at this point that gloriously misinterprets her "chakra control" from canon and runs off with it. Either you establish a plausible lore with it, without turning it absurdly game-y, or stick to canon and develop her from the ground up. It's like having your cake and eating it, too, without any frame-work that justifies this. This is on another level of Confirmation Bias that I've never understood.

Awesome!
Truly impressed chapter 1 . 6/26
You made a Sakura-centric fic that I actually enjoyed! Kudos for that. And I love that this is one of thise stories that has it's character getting stronger not because they are from clan but through hardwork and perseverance. That's why Minato is my favourite Hokage. You don't need to be from a clan to be strong!

That was the message that Rock Lee tried to push but he never really beat anyone. Thank god that this Sakura is able to showcase this mentality better than Lee did.

blancoroja chapter 1 . 5/12
This is an interesting idea! I like how far Sakura gets with her practice, and how she's not just tenacious and determined but also innovative. (Although I am skeptical that she could overtake Sasuke.) Haha it's a good thing Sakura took her mom literally!
