shallowdweller chapter 1 . 5/21/2014 There have been some great tags for the finale, but this is my favorite so far. The intro was great, getting all the bureaucratic maneuvering out of the way quickly and with good natured humor. It was clever making a running gag of Patrick's first name, a nice contrast with his complete ease in calling her Teresa. I wish he had answered the question about Wylie not breaking the code. But perhaps by not arguing with her assessment (well put, btw) he confirmed it. If I were Teresa, the notion that he had made the code so simple that he expected suspects to solve it, then helped her to break it, would have been a blow to my pride. But his observation that she was expecting him to swoop in and solve it, as usual, was a balm to that blow. Just very sweet. Thank you. |
