This was excellent! I enjoyed this story, and the one before it. It seemed a little short, but maybe that's because the first one you wrote was so long. But I don't think it took away from the story at all. Just a tip, though. I noticed that you mentioned the old heroes in Sovngarde as being the original Dragonborns. Actually, they were just mortals who learned to Shout with the help of Paarthurnax. Mortals couldn't do so before, but Kyne gifted them that power, and asked Paarthurnax to help.
Also, it would be Dragonborn, not Dragonborns. The plural of born is still born, like deer and fish. But all in all, I did enjoy this story

i have enjoyed this story very much and really hope it is not yet finished. I see many problems that will interfere with their inevitable marriage. One being she supports the imperials knowing its the only way to beat the thamor and he doesnt . Maybe as was suggested he be arrested as spy. Or sees how the non nords are treated in the home town of the man he so admires . Or even how the man treat Alyssa with contempt as shes a non nord female-even though she gave up so much to save the world. And there must be a problem with the thieves guild most who will back her but some sporting her jealousy angry would be lover.
i think you have great writing skills and could easy become an main stream author
